Coin that could re-write Chinese-African history found

A joint team of Kenyan and Chinese archaeologists have found a coin that suggests early Chinese explorers reached East Africa about 80 years before the first Europeans.

The discovery is not only forcing historians to reconsider the continents' early trading relations, but is offering a new understanding of the region's current trade links to China.
