In the course of making a two part BBC profile of Nelson Mandela in 2002, David Dimbleby spoke to a number of people who knew Mandela well.

Graca Machel of Mozambique was a well known around Africa as a campaigner for the rights of women and children.

In July 1998, she became Nelson Mandela's third wife.

She talked about the difference between Mandela the politician, and Mandela behind-closed-doors.
