Somali PM calls for help to defeat jihadist fighters

Somalia's prime minister has called for greater international support to help combat jihadist fighters linked to al-Qaeda.

The country has become a base for Indian Ocean pirates, kidnappers and Islamist militants, but Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed says outside help could provide the key to ending 20 years of civil conflict.
