Tunisian police to stop using live fire at protests

Tunisia's president has said he will not seek a new term in office in 2014 following widespread protests which have left at least 23 people dead.

Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali has also ordered police to stop using live fire against protesters.

Crowds had gathered in the heart of the city as unrest over unemployment and claims of corruption continued for another day.
