International pressure mounts on Libya's Col Gaddafi

The US ambassador to the UN has described Colonel Gaddafi as "delusional" and "unfit to lead".

Susan Rice was speaking after the Libyan leader gave an interview to the BBC and other western journalists in which he said he was loved by all his people and denied there had been any protests against him.

Several countries including Britain and the US are considering imposing a military no-fly zone over Libya while the US is re-positioning its forces in the region.
