Flow of migrants from Libya into Tunisia 'slowing down'

The main opposition group in Libya says it will not negotiate an end to the conflict there until Colonel Gaddafi gives up power.

The National Libyan Council also called again for foreign intervention to stop the Gaddafi regime from carrying out air-strikes against its opponents.

Meanwhile, the International Development Secretary Andrew Mitchell has travelled to the Libyan border to monitor efforts to help thousands of refugees.

The BBC's Jim Muir says that the flow of migrants from Libya has slowed down considerably.
