Thousands flee Ivory Coast city as fighting intensifies

Thousands are fleeing the main Ivory Coast city of Abidjan every day as fighting intensifies between supporters and opponents of the incumbent leader Laurent Gbagbo.

He's hanging on in the Presidential Palace -- despite the UN and African Union confirming he lost elections last year.

Many people are fleeing to the northern city of Bouake from where the BBC's Mark Doyle reports.
