Gaddafi has told supporters; 'We will not surrender'

Allied attacks on Libya have continued for a fourth night in a row. Some explosions were heard in Tripoli, but the capital was quieter than earlier in the week.

There was fierce fighting in the rebel held city of Misrata. Colonel Gaddafi remains defiant vowing to defeat his enemies.

However, the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has suggested the Libyan leader may be exploring the possibility of going into exile.
