US Army General: 'Nato should lead Libya operation'

Head of US Africa Command, General Carter Ham has told a media briefing at the Sigonella air base in Sicily that he hoped Nato would soon lead operations in Libya.

At present, a coalition led by the US, France and the UK is implementing a UN resolution enforcing a no-fly zone in the country.
