US will not rule out arming rebels seeking to overthrow Gaddafi

The US President Barack Obama has said he will not rule out arming rebels seeking to overthrow the Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi.

His comments come after an international conference in London agreed to co-ordinate help for a post-Gaddafi Libya.

Meanwhile government forces have driven the rebels back over ground they took in recent days.
