Troops loyal to Ouattara storm Gbagbo's 'bunker' in Abidjan

Troops loyal to the internationally recognised winner of the Ivory Coast's disputed presidential election, Alassane Ouattara, say they are storming the presidential residence in Abidjan.

That is where the incumbent leader, Laurent Gbagbo, is holding out. Heavy gunfire and explosions are reported in the area.

Gbagbo is surrounded by troops loyal to Ouattara, who have made a swift advance into the city in recent days.

Richard Galpin reports.
