Nato 'remains vigilant' over Libya

The UN resolution mandating Nato action to protect civilians in Libya remains valid, a spokesman has said.

Col Roland Lavoie said that Nato remains vigilant over Tripoli, after strong gains from the opposition rebels into the capital city.

He also said that missions were taking place around the country against pro-Gaddadi forces where they threatened civilians.
