Gaddafi's death 'marks an historic transition for Libya'

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, has told the UN that Col Gaddafi's death "marks an historic transition for Libya".

He went on to urge all Libyans to pull together and "all combatants to lay down their arms in peace", to enable the NTC to build a new nation.
