Somalia needs 'comprehensive and permanent peace'
World leaders have urged Somalis to seize an "unprecedented opportunity" to rebuild their nation, at a major conference in London on the war-torn nation's future.
Ending threats of terrorism and piracy were in everyone's interests, UK Prime Minister David Cameron said.
The President of the Somali Transitional National Government, Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, said his people looked to the international community to help his country overcome violence and restore peace and confidence.
