Somali President: 'We are scared of tomorrow'

Somalia's President Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed has called on the international community to help secure his war-torn nation's future, at a major conference in London.

African and World leaders are discussing how to help tackle issues including piracy, civil war and famine in the country.

At the start of the conference, the Somali leader said his people wanted "something to look forward to", not "mere words on pieces of paper".
