Warlord Thomas Lubanga denied using child soldiers in 2003

Convicted war criminal Thomas Lubanga denied using child soldiers during a BBC interview in 2003.

Andrew Harding made this feature about the plight of children in the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo nine years ago.

The International Criminal Court has now convicted Lubanga of recruiting and using child soldiers between 2002 and 2003.

He will be sentenced at a future hearing.
