Kenya's first female Maasai MP

Kenya has it first female Maasai MP following elections held this week.

Peris Pesi Tobiko was elected from amongst the Maasai community, which is largely patriarchal and where women often struggle to be heard.

BBC Africa's Sophie Ikenye caught up with her in the capital, Nairobi, and asked her how she convinced the Maasai elders that she was the right person for the job.
