Doctors in Ghana continue to strike over salary dispute

Doctors and pharmacists in Ghana are continuing to strike following a long standing dispute over salary arrears.

Talks between doctors and finance ministers were continuing on Friday but it will be Sunday before patients know whether a deal has been struck.

Only emergency cases or patients admitted before the start of the strike are receiving medical attention.
