Kenya gay activists defy protest rally ban

Homosexuality has long been a taboo topic across Africa, with most countries making it illegal.

Punishments range from fines to years in prison.

But on Friday demonstrators took to the streets of Nairobi, calling for homosexuality to be de-criminalised in Kenya and other African countries.
