Nelson Mandela: South African relief at 'progress'

There is "no change" in the condition of Nelson Mandela, but he is responding well to hospital treatment, the South African presidency has said.

Mr Mandela, who turns 95 next month, is being cared for in a Pretoria hospital for a recurrent lung infection.

The BBC's Gabriel Gatehouse says much of the scrutiny over the former president's health has been due to a lack of detail available about his condition.
