Mandela in hospital: Doves released at Pretoria hospital

As Nelson Mandela remains critical in a Pretoria hospital, doves have been released in his honour.

Thomas Coutts, who released the birds, said they were a symbol of the freedom the former president had brought to South Africa.

He told the BBC's Karen Allen: "It is a symbol to say 'Tata [father] we are with you, we are praying for you'."
