Kofi Awoonor reading poetry in 1978

Prominent Ghanaian poet Kofi Awoono was killed in a terrorist siege at a shopping centre in Nairobi, Kenya.

He contributed to several programmes for the BBC, and read one of his poems about love death and evil in this recording from 1978.
