More than 100 killed in Central African Republic
The United Nations has authorised military action by African and French forces in the Central African Republic to protect civilians.
The UN security council also imposed an arms embargo and asked the UN to prepare for a possible peacekeeping mission.
This comes as more than 100 people have been killed in fighting in the capital of Bangui.
BBC Focus on Africa's Komla Dumor spoke to the UN's Amy Martin who is in Bangui.
