UN campaign to prevent 'global resurgence' of polio

The UN is warning that a significant outbreak of polio in the Horn of Africa could lead to a global resurgence if it is not stopped.

An emergency vaccination campaign is underway to prevent further cases of the disease, which can cause paralysis and sometimes death.
