Djibouti FM Mahmoud Ali Youssouf on tackling al-Shabab

The tiny, impoverished nation of Djibouti is home to America's main military base for all of Africa, and the epicentre of US counter terrorism efforts against al-Shabab in neighbouring Somalia.

US forces also support Yemen's government in the fight against Al Qaeda in Southern Yemen.

Security correspondent Frank Gardner spoke to the country's foreign minister, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, about the issues facing the region.
