Ethiopia and Egypt in dispute over access to the Nile

Egypt and Ethiopia are in a growing dispute over access to the River Nile.

Ethiopia is constructing the Grand Renaissance Dam, which when finished will be Africa's largest hydroelectric dam and will provide an estimated 6,000 megawatts of electricity.

But despite reassurances from the Ethiopian government that the dam poses no threat to Egypt's share of the Nile, Egyptians are asking what effect it will have on their already depleting water resources.

Sally Nabil reports from Aswan.
