WHO: 'Ebola spread can be stopped'

The World Health Organisation has said a co-ordinated international response can stop the spread of Ebola, as it declared the outbreak in West Africa an international emergency.

The outbreak started in Guinea, and has spread to Liberia, Sierra Leone and most recently Nigeria.

More than 960 people have died from the virus in West Africa this year, two of them in Nigeria.

Fergus Walsh reports.
