Ebola virus: Ethical to use untested drugs, says WHO

Untested drugs can be used to treat patients infected with the Ebola virus, the World Health Organization has said.

At a meeting in Switzerland, it said such a move was ethical in light of the scale of the outbreak and high number of deaths in west Africa in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, a Spanish priest who contracted the disease in Liberia has died after contracting the disease.
