Five Ebola patients are discharged from hospital in Nigeria

UN figures show that 1,229 people have now died of Ebola since the beginning of this year - the worst affected countries are Sierra Leone, Guinea, Liberia and Nigeria.

In Nigeria, four people have died from the outbreak.

The country's President Goodluck Jonathan has declared the crisis a national emergency, to try to prevent the virus from spreading.
