Parents 'desperate' six months after Boko Haram abductions

It has been six months since more than 200 school girls were abducted in north east Nigeria. They were seized from their school in Chibok by Boko Haram Islamist militants.

A few girls were able to escape their captors since the kidnapping, but despite promises from the Nigerian government that they all would be rescued, and offers of help from around the world, most are still missing.

Two parents who had their daughters abducted spoke to the BBC. Yahaya Mohammed said that the "government must do more". Hanatu Dauda described the situation as "desperate".
