Kenya: Al-Shabab massacres 36 quarry workers in Mandera

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has replaced his interior minister and police chief following a massacre by Islamist group al-Shabab.

Somali militants shot and killed at least 36 non-Muslim quarry workers in the northern town of Mandera, near the border with Somalia.

President Kenyatta has called the attackers "deranged animals".
