Inside Libya: Is the oil-rich state facing financial collapse?

Libya's economy has been hit hard by political turmoil and escalating violence inside the country.

However, plummeting oil prices are also taking their toll and the central bank is having to use its foreign reserves to cover the state's spending.

With the money running out, some commentators have predicted the country could be facing a "financial catastrophe".
