Somalia showing signs of peace and progress

Somalia has suffered decades of civil war and famine but with the Islamic militant group al-Shabab pushed out of the capital Mogadishu, some aspects of life there have begun to return to normal.

At Lido beach on the northern edge of the city, thousands of Somalis now come to play in the surf and eat at the restaurants that have sprung up along the front.

Andrew Harding reports from Mogadishu.
