Bashir defies SA legal restriction to return to Sudan

Omar al-Bashir has defied an order by a South African court to remain in the country and flown back to Sudan.

The Sudanese president is wanted for war crimes by the International Criminal Court.

He had been in South Africa for an African Union summit but has returned to Khartoum.
