DRC shifting focus from mining to agriculture

Mining is the backbone of the DR Congo's economy and the south-east province of Katanga holds enormous deposits of precious minerals - including copper, cobalt and uranium.

But as minerals prices plunge, investing in agriculture is now seen as the key to reducing poverty in one of the world's least developed nations.
