Ladies first: Pink bus service for Pakistani women

Women commuters in Lahore can now travel in buses that do not allow male passengers onboard.

In Pakistan, women using public transport are often unable to board buses easily or find a seat, even in the ladies section, and many are subjected to harassment.

The pink buses are meant to provide women comfort and security while travelling on public transport.
