Peshawar’s historic homes brought back to life to boost tourism

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is now restoring a number of 150-year-old houses in Old Peshawar city which had become dilapidated.

They hope soon to open them as museums to the general public as part of a drive to attract tourists to a region currently struggling against a growing wave of militancy.
