Indian police treated child victim 'like a criminal'

The issue of sexual violence against women and girls has been under intense scrutiny in India after the fatal gang rape of a student on a Delhi bus in December and the alleged rape and assault of a five-year-old girl last week.

The BBC's Sanjoy Majumder has been speaking to the father of a four-year-old girl who was allegedly sexually assaulted at play school.

Her father said she was questioned for hours by three uniformed police officers and ''treated like a criminal''.
