Australian election: Rudd and Abbot cast their votes

As polling day is underway in Australia, election rivals Tony Abbott and Prime Minister Kevin Rudd have cast their own votes.

Tony Abbott voted with his wife and three daughters at a polling booth in Sydney.

Meanwhile, Kevin Rudd voted in Brisbane with his wife Therese Rein, amidst heckles from the public regarding Mr Rudd's immigration policy.
