100 Women: Afghan writers fight warlords with poetry

In Afghanistan, preparations are underway for next year's critical president elections - at a time when most Nato troops are pulling out.

There are great concerns about Afghanistan's future, including whether women's rights, recently won, can endure.

But Afghan women are determined to preserve new freedoms, including even their right to write and recite their own poetry.

As part of our 100 Women season our Chief International Correspondent Lyse Doucet has been meeting female poets who face great risk, including death threats, to express their deepest thoughts.
