Opposition leader: Sri Lanka is 'not functional democracy'

Sri Lankan opposition leader Ranil Wickremasinghe has said that he believes his country is "no longer a functional democracy".

His comments came as Commonwealth leaders from around the world gathered in Colombo for a summit, amid criticism of Sri Lanka's human rights record.

The former prime minister was speaking to the BBC's James Robbins, who started by asking him if there were too many members of the Rajapaksa family in power.
