Malaysia plane: What compensation can relatives expect?
US lawyers have filed preliminary papers for lawsuits against both the airline and plane maker Boeing following the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.
The law firm Ribbeck has said it expects to represent half of the families of missing passengers.
Flight MH370 disappeared on 8 March with 239 people on board.
It had been en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing when it disappeared from air traffic controllers' screens over the South China Sea.
Andrew Charlton of the consultants Aviation Advocacy explains what compensation the relatives can expect to receive.
