Myanmar hijacking story revealed, 60 years on

For years reporting acts of dissent was restricted by military governments in Myanmar, also known as Burma.

But that is beginning to change. The long-suppressed story of a plane hijacked by Karen rebels in 1954 has now been cleared to be told.

One of the hijackers spoke to the BBC's Jonah Fisher about the dramatic episode.
