Hong Kong protesters: Crowds defy warning to leave

Pro-democracy protesters are continuing to occupy parts of Hong Kong despite a warning to disperse from officials.

Thousands of people held a rally overnight defying the Beijing-backed authorities, although by Sunday morning many of the protesters had gone home.

The BBC's John Sudworth, who is among the protesters, says it is unclear if police will use force to remove the remaining demonstrators, and what effect that would have.
