Pope Francis in Philippines: Record crowds brave rain in Manila

An estimated six million people in the Philippines' capital, Manila, have defied the rain to hear Pope Francis celebrate an outdoor Mass.

The mass marked the pontiff's final full day in the Philippines, concluding his six-day tour of Asia.

The Vatican said Pope Francis had dedicated the service in part to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, which devastated the country in 2013.

Rupert Wingfield-Hayes reports from Manila.
