BBC Pop Up to film your India story ideas

India is not only the world's largest democracy, but it will soon also be home to our travelling film unit, BBC Pop Up.

BBC Pop Up will make short documentaries about issues in India for BBC World News television channel and the BBC News website - as well as the BBC's Hindi outlets. All their stories will come from ideas suggested by you, the viewer.

"One out of every 100 people in the US is now Indian-American. Beyond that, 90 percent of Indian-American adults are born in India," said US-based Pop Up creator Matt Danzico.

"Needless to say, it might not be a bad time to learn a bit more about India," he added.
