China hotel 'assault video' sparks debate

A video uploaded on China's version of Twitter, which appears to show a women being assaulted, has prompted a debate about why many are reluctant to help strangers.

CCTV footage, uploaded on Sina Weibo, shows a woman being grabbed and dragged across a hotel corridor in full view of bystanders.

The video has become one of the most-discussed topics on Chinese social media - posts have been viewed more than two billion times.
