China hacking: What is at stake from cyber-theft?

Chinese President Xi Jinping is in Seattle on Wednesday meeting top business and technology leaders from the US and China.

Cyber security is expected to feature prominently in their discussions, after the US said economic espionage was putting an enormous strain on bilateral relations.

Mandiant, a US cyber security firm, was the first to expose the cyber unit of China's People's Liberation Army in 2013.

Laura Galante, the company's director of threat intelligence, told the BBC what is at stake from cyber-theft.
