Eyes On China: snapshots of everyday life in China

Determined to show the world a more nuanced view of China than is sometimes portrayed, Kevin Frayer founded the Eyes on China project.

He brought together a diverse collective of Chinese and foreign photographers, to show a side of the country beyond the factories and Tiananmen square.

Focussing on everyday life across the country, the project is published on Instagram, even though the site is banned in China, along with much Western social media.
