Two dead in India chariot festival crowd surge in Orissa

Two people have been killed in a crowd surge at a religious festival in the Indian state of Orissa.

Police struggled to control the crowd as tens of thousands of people turned out for a Hindu chariot festival in the town of Puri.

Both those who died were women - two other people are in a critical condition in hospital.
